i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg192… | Do you know any NATURAL, curly haired Black models? I'm looking for names, names, names. No Tyra Banks, no OLD black models, no black singers or actresses, por favor, por favor.
Just looking for black models that have natural, curly hair so I can get some style ideas. They can be Brazilian, Ethiopian, Somalian, Nigerian, Congolese, I don't mind.
I only know Thais dos Santos and Gelila Bekele (look them up!)
Thanks in advance... | Iman, Yasmin Warsame, Hawa Ahmed, Liya Kebede, Fatimah Siad, Ayan Elmi.
If you look these models up, you can find pictures of them with curly hair in case you need some ideas for hair styles. :) | Why are there no Indian Victoria secret models? by indian I mean from INDIA, all of the models are brazilian, black, or white. | | It's sad to say but there is still little visibility for models with different backgrounds. We all know the famous super models like Naomi Campbell, but there have been few Indian models. There was one in the 90's named Yasmeen Ghouri-who was stunning. Don't know whatever happened to her. Maybe we'll see Aishwarya Rai modeling for Victoria's secret soon! Who knows-she's definitely beautiful enough. :) | Which of these brazilian models is hottest? I'd like to know who you think is hottest out of these three well known brazilian models, and why. (to the disappointement of some, I did not include Gisele in this)
1. Adriana Lima www.hippieloco.com/thumbnail/adri…
2. Alessandra Ambrosio gonzofolio.iadopor.de/images2ale/…
3. Ana Beatriz Barros www.abstracthiphop.com/hip-hop-ho… | | adriana lima | How come biracial people (half black-half white) look black usually? Brazilian model (mother black father european portuguese) 2.bp.blogspot.com/_8uaJ9ls8JUg/R1…
The guy on the right in the gray shirt is half white.
gossiponthis.com/wp-content/uploa… | Well,if you mix a black person with a portuguese person. You must know by history that they have some arab acenstry and thus they are not that white. Also black genes when mixed with white are usualy stronger than white.Unless they are super white like the northern-europeans.The northern-europeans are not so mixed as the rest of the world and still kept their blood line somewhat intact. You can tell the difference when you mix a black or asian person with a german,swedish,finnish,norweagian...pers… will have stronger white features.
So,when mixes are mixed, the stronger genes will prevail, such as black. | Why do Brazilian women treat American black men like gold? I have a friend who is black and his wife is Brazilian. She treats him like he's the last man on the planet! She has a doctorate degree in medicine and he's just a high school graduate. Why Brazilian women just want love and happiness and American women mostly want the material things? Oh, and she does modeling on the side and she calls that something fun to do. | | i think that's good. and you make her sound like she's doing the wrong thing. maybe she really love the guy. | Why are most Brazilian supermodels look white? For a country like Brazil
the Brazilian soccer players i've seen are mostly brown or black people so i always thought Brazilians are brown people .
why is it that most their models look white like Giselle Bündchen, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Isabeli Fontana, Raica Oliveira, Jeísa Chiminazzo, Ana Claudia Michels
they are tanned but still look white with their blond hairs and blue/green eyes , why is that? | | AFR-CAM is the only correct person here, yet she gets thumbed down and that ignorant hack LexDiamond who just made up his answer because it fits his anti-white agenda gets thumbed up? The population of Brazil is about 50% white. The Southern portion of the country is about 80% white, and is populated by descendants of German immigrants, such as Giselle Bundchen. | Whose the prettiest "black"model? 1) Denise vasi(biracial) <scroll down>

2) Emanuela de paula(brazilian)

3) cassie

4) Liya Kebede
img294.imageshack.us/my.php?image… | Cassie is a model?
Out of these choices, I'd pick Denise. But, they'd all better recognize the true black model's who still rein supreme.
Iman and Beverly Johnson. | WHy do shows ALWAYS eliminate the black people first (Momma's Boys and True Beauty)? I'm am sooo tired of these white dominated "reality" shows that don't represent the diversity of this country. Yet, I shouldn't be surprised when those in charge are old, white, men anyway (that's a patriarchial dominated soceity for ya) Anyway, I was watching Momma's Boys and True Beauty tonight and on BOTH shows the blacks were eliminated and there were barely any there to begin with. This is a PATTERN and it's really annoying to see. On true beauty you have 2 black and the rest ALL white, as if to say only whites are pretty enough and a few blacks are. Where were the Asians, Latinos, etc? I've seen plenty gorgeous ones out there. Aren't most super models Brazilian? Yet, these shows perpetuate stereotypes about what is the std. of beauty and I'm tired of it!!!! The black girl was in my opinion GORGEOUS, but was elim. for a "bad attitude" once again that on going stereotype about black women being rude. These shows love to put the most stereotypical people on and call it "reality" like that is how EVERYONE is and dumb people buy into it. On Momma's boys the black girls are there as show pieces. They had prob. the most black people I have seen on a bachelor type show, but the moms don't really like them and the guys seem to only want white women, when there are white guys out there that DO like black women. Could the producers HONESTLY not find a white man like that? Tonight TWO black women were elim., and many educated, beautiful, and with great qualities. What's the point of having a record number of them if they all go in sets, leaving us with what is ASSUMED to be more desirable WHITE women? There are so many things wrong in thsese shows and much more I could write, but I'm ranting and just had to let it out. I need to make my own diversity interracial spin type show to make people realize what "reality" is like. What do you guys think rather you've seen the show are not? This really makes me cry, but I know I can't get angry at others' ignorance b/c that won't change a thing. | | ..........*cough* american idol* rabal raball hughf *cough* | Black people if you look for racism can you find it? Has anyone read the article over the Lebron James coverstory controversy? Why is this causing controversy? As a black person, do you find this cover offensive? I personally was appalled to read an article claiming that this photograph demoralizes black men because of the implications. Why create racism where there is none? Do you find this allegations to be true? On the cover of Vogue magazine there is a picture of Gisele Bundchen (a BRAZILIAN model, not a white woman by the way) and Lebron James (an NBA superstar with one too many tattoos that apparently cause him to look like a "death row inmate.") The writer of this article claims that this photograph turns him into "King Kong" with Fay Wray in his arms. The writer of this article is black. I'm sensing the writer of this article has personal identity issues. Does anyone out there agree with me when I say, if it ain't broke don't fix it? | How come nobody cites the jewish, for using the Holocaust card?
It seems like if a black person says anything, it gets dismissed, and the person who spoke gets cited for complaining!
Our complaint is not about slavery, that IS Over with, but this new Ish, is still around, and that is the problem!
I don't know what it will take, for you people to understand!
It is like we were stabbed 400 years ago, and the wound has gotten infected; and it is like y'all are saying "Stop your complaining, you were stabbed 400 years ago!"
It's infected!
And y'all subtle racism is keeping this going, without you even knowing(or maybe you do know)!
<Edit>
I'm sorry, it was more of a response to the first answer!
Just one of those days, no offense I hope!
You're right though! |
